Mobile businesses are those without a permanent physical address, like food trucks or pop-up shops. When a mobile business is open, they can place a pin on the map in the Klink-iT app so customers can find them. Once they’re done for the day, the business can remove the pin, keeping the map accurate and up-to-date.
When you open the Klink-iT app, you have two options: you can either select a business first and then choose a patron to send the Klink to, or you can start by selecting a patron and then pick a business. Once you've made your selection, simply choose the item(s) you'd like to Klink and send them off!
Once someone sends you a Klink, head to the business to redeem it. If you're already checked in at the business, simply show the staff your Klink, and they will process the redemption for you.
When you open the Klink-iT app while you’re at or near a participating business, Klink-iT will automatically check you in. This feature requires location sharing to be enabled on your device. Your location is used only when you open the app, to confirm whether you are at a participating business. Being checked in allows you to redeem Klinks and access additional features.
The "Who's Here" button, found on a business's profile in the Klink-iT app, allows you to see other patrons checked in to the same business. If a patron has made their profile public, you can select them and send them a Klink directly. This feature is available when you have enabled location sharing, and Klink-iT automatically checks you in when you arrive at a participating business and open the app.
Note: Klink-iT only uses your location while the app is open, solely for checking you in and out of businesses.
